True professionals and they really know what they are doing. Attention to detail and John's exemplary ability to interpret my design I drew on a paper and make it actually work is a true talent. John helped us with a very detailed estimated, breaking down to all aspects of the project. Communication was thorough and straightforward. Pricing was fair. The most commendable aspect was the timelines. They proposed a 9 day schedule at the beginning of the project and showed up on time, always right on schedule. Stellar Workmanship and very organized. Kudos to John and his team!Posted onVerified If you had seen what my backyard looked like before, you would've been shocked with the end result. It was basically a forest that was completely unusable. John came out promptly and gave me a quote and walked me through our plans. He was very knowledgeable and had great ideas since we were completely unsure of what to do. One thing I really appreciated that he repeated the plans multiple times throughout the meeting just so he made sure I was still on board with the plans. Caligreen's quote was very competitive but what I appreciated most was that John and I went back and forth over text for a few weeks before I actually made my decision. I wanted to pick his brain and see what else we could add to the project. He really stuck with me and when I was ready to go forward, we were all on the same page. I had to get my backyard cleared prior to them starting since I had several tall trees and lots of brush. It was a small expense to clear the backyard but allowed them to have a clean slate when they started. This project only took about 10 days and the team was here every morning at 7:30 to get going. These guys work so hard! I did need to make an addition as we wanted a few light poles which they were able to quote out quickly and get them installed during the project. All in all, I'm very pleased with this project and I can't say enough good things about the Caligreen team. I will definitely refer them to anyone I know and vouch for their work. Several contractors would not even bid the project. The team installed all new irrigation and replanted the yard with new sod and plants. They were prompt, responsive and professional. There crew were polite, friendly, did not curse or play loud music and the left the place neat and clean each evening. I have been involved with millions of dollars in landscape contracts over my career and these folks did a great job for a fair price. To get a head start I requested quotes for backyard and front yard landscaping from 4 different landscaping companies. We were looking to do a retaining wall and some plants, trees, and area with bark and some areas with rock. During the process of nailing down an idea and quote with each company, caligreen was always the quickest to get back with an updated quote (we kept cutting things or adding things) most reasonable in price, and didn't try to sway us into a particular design (but would let us know if something couldn't or shouldn't be done). With the other companies, one company the price was 2 or 3 times as much, one company flaked and wasn't responsive and the other company tried to push his design style on us.A couple months later after pool was complete, Caligreen came in and started the project. Even making tweaks last minute they were flexible. They started on a Friday to accommodate the last minute change we made to the wall. They were able to finish backyard and front yard by the following Thursday. They showed up on time every day, everyone was nice and would give us a status everyday on how things were going. I was reminded when I needed some additional drip lines, and the man who did the job remarked at how good the original drip irrigation job was done. I had paid several companies to do the work prior to Mark, and all disappointed me. I finally found Mark who did a great job and, at a more reasonable price. Then when it came time to complete the work, Mark provided a timeline for when the job will be complete and it was completed on time! Also, him and his team did a thorough cleaning so it was like they were never here, except now we have a beautiful backyard. Starting with day 1 with the initial call with the super friendly first contact, working with Caligreen went super smooth and the crew worked nonstop. You can look at the two initial reviews of their work through the process for details, but to save you time, it went all super smooth and well. Plus they were much better price point compared to the other quotes which made me a tad worried but super thankful that we went with them. Though, day one with Caligreen went super smooth and the crew worked nonstop to remove the old, lay the initial foundation and the super needed new drainage. Still nothing but outstanding service at this point. Nice and early start. Next up is the pouring of the concrete and the final work of laying of the artificial turf.
